HRA is currently accepting donations for the David P. Wulderk Memorial PavilionDave Wulderk was a lifelong resident of Houtzdale. He was a teacher at Moshannon Valley School District for 36 years and a substitute teacher at St. Francis Catholic School.
He was president of the Clearfield County Historical Society and President of the Osceola Mills Historical Society. He was also a member of the Houtzdale Lions Club and the Houtzdale Revitalization Association. He was also an active member and former County Chairman of the Democratic Party.
He was respected, well liked and an important person to not only the borough of Houtzdale, but all of Clearfield County. He worked hard to preserve local history and published his findings for the benefit of future generations. Dave was 66 years old when he unexpectedly passed away on August 10, 2021. The pavilion will be a public space for the community to enjoy for concerts, speakers,& celebrations. Anticipated completion is 2024.
